Calvary United Methodist Church

Our Community Involvement

Calvary United Methodist has hosted the Churchville Ruritan Club's monthly meetings for many years. We serve the members a home cooked dinner before each montly meeting.

The Calvary family has also provided a bake sale table at the Ruritan's annual pancake supper for several years.

Calvary has hosted or assisted our sister church, Cokesbury United Methodist Church, in serving Thanksgiving dinner to the soldiers from the nearby Aberdeen Proving Ground for the last several years.

Who We Are

Old and New

Some of the members of our church family have been coming to Calvary since they were brought to church for the first time by their parents. That includes some that have been coming for over 80 years.

Some members have only been here for about 20 years and some for only about 10.

But we all have one thing in common. We love the peaceful, tranquil setting of a small country church.
